Launched in August 2026, Phonak Audéo™ EON Sphere is the third generation of Phonak’s advanced AI-powered Sphere hearing technology.

Its greatest advantage is exceptionally clear speech in noisy environments, regardless of the speaker's location.

Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0 uses real-time deep neural network processing to separate speech from surrounding noise. Instead of relying exclusively on conventional directional microphones, the hearing aids can identify and enhance voices coming from different directions, making it easier to participate in group conversations when people and competing sounds surround the listener.

Phonak reports a signal-to-noise ratio improvement of up to 10 dB in complex group conversations. Users can be twice as likely to understand every word from any direction compared with the same hearing-aid settings without Spheric Speech Clarity.

This advanced processing is powered by the new HYPERSONIC™ AI chip, which uses 37% less power than the previous Sphere generation while maintaining Phonak’s real-time AI performance.

The improved efficiency allows Audéo EON Sphere to be 25% smaller and 20% lighter than the previous Sphere hearing aid. Its slimmer, lighter receiver-in-canal design sits more discreetly behind the ear and provides greater comfort throughout the day.

AutoSense OS™ AI 8.0 continuously analyses the surrounding sound environment and automatically selects the most appropriate combination of speech enhancement, directional microphones and noise reduction.

WindBlock 2.0 improves outdoor listening by reducing microphone wind noise by up to 50 dB and improving the signal-to-noise ratio by up to 30 dB under certain conditions.

Audéo EON Sphere also introduces Auracast™ broadcast audio while retaining Phonak’s universal Bluetooth connectivity. It connects to virtually any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet or computer and supports direct stereo streaming and true hands-free calling.

The rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides approximately 22 hours of expected operating time and up to 38 hours of maximum use from a full charge.

Phonak Audéo EON Sphere E70 provides more advanced automatic processing for users who regularly encounter complex and changing listening environments.
AutoSense OS AI 8.0 can automatically activate Spheric Speech in Loud Noise when it detects challenging background noise, helping users benefit from Sphere processing without manually changing programs.

With 20 fine-tuning channels, E70 provides more precise personalisation than E50.
