The ReSound Nexia models have a Microphone & Receiver-in-Ear (M&RIE) system, adding an in-ear microphone to capture sounds naturally. They also offer improved speech understanding and sound quality. ReSound Nexia hearing aids can also improve TV viewing with the TV streamer accessory, which streams sound directly to the hearing aids at the user’s preferred volume.

Users can control their ReSound Nexia Micro RIE hearing aids with the ReSound Smart3D app. This app, available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store, allows users to easily adjust the volume, change programs, and fine-tune settings to prioritise what they want to hear. The hearing aids offer two versions of Remote Control: the basic Remote Control for intuitive management of program settings and connections and the advanced Remote Control 2 for comprehensive access to all hearing device settings and connections.
