Among its cutting-edge features is the iEdge Mode, a feature common to all the Starkey Genesis AI models. This feature optimises speech perception according to the real-time environment.

The iEdge Mode also provides real-time translation and transcription, an industry-leading technology.

Connectivity

The Starkey Genesis AI hearing aids offer Bluetooth connectivity that allows users to stream and take calls directly from their phones. Because it is made for iOS devices, hands-free calls are only available for iOS users. However, streaming is available for Android devices as well.
The Starkey Genesis AI family of hearing aids is also compatible with several accessories and connectors, such as the Starkey TV transmitter.
